Clare Farthing Inspiring Success

Hi, I’m Clare, and I live on the Somerset Levels, a beautiful part of the South West. I enjoy walking, fine dining, reading, listening to podcasts, travelling and spending time with family/friends. And, of course, working on my business so I can be the best version of myself and create the biggest impact for my clients.

I am an award-winning Business Coach and Mentor, and have won ‘The Best Supporting Act’ in the prestigious West Country Women Awards – an absolute honour.

Also, nominated in The Notty’s Business Awards for ‘The Community Champions Award’, and was a part of the BBC’s definitive business podcast, ‘The Bottom Line’, talking about Introverts: “Can Quiet Voices Conquer The Corporate World?” and featured in an article for BBC Bristol on “Introverts turning societal norms on their heads.”

My Journey

I bring nearly 30 years of corporate experience across a range of industries, which has given me a deep understanding of how businesses and individuals work and what they need to thrive. With that foundation and a lifetime of learning, including from my entrepreneurial parents, it feels like business has always been in my blood. Some of my earliest memories are of helping out in my father’s retail shop during the school holidays and listening to the highs and lows of running a business around the dining room table.

I started running my own business off the back of a hat-trick of redundancies in 2015. I launched Your Virtual Assistant – a business that quickly became award-winning when I was named UK Best Newcomer VA in 2016, at the Business Show in London.

Two years later, a client reflected to me that I was having coaching conversations with her, which had naturally emerged through the additional support she needed that I wasn’t being paid for – one of my first lessons on charging your worth and the pivotal point that I was destined to have a greater impact.

I transitioned into coaching and mentoring. It was the work I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to, as the difference in that client and her business was phenomenal.

I continue to invest in myself and my business – from working with coaches and mentors along the way, and joining professional business communities, to reading business books/listening to podcasts, to attending training and events – I believe in continually growing, learning and evolving. Because the more I invest in my own growth, the more I can empower my clients.

What I've Discovered

Through my own journey over the past 10 years, I’ve discovered that my true zone of genius lies in inspiring, motivating, supporting and providing accountability to those who resonate more with introversion.

As an ambivert and a sensitive soul, I bring empathy, positivity, drive and focus. What clients value most is the way I listen deeply, encourage them to believe in themselves, and support them in taking the next step with clarity and confidence.

I love sharing my experiences, tools and insights to empower introverts in the workplace to grow in confidence, connect with like-minded peers, embrace collaboration and create success on their own terms.

My role is to hold space, ask the right questions, and provide both support and strategy so that you can thrive in business.

Whether you’re seeking in-house coaching/mentoring, workshops or monthly accountability for you or your people, I am sure I can help. Please, get in touch to arrange an informal chat.
